Inspiration

Essentially, Inspiration is different for everyone, it can be as unique as a
fingerprint. What inspires and motivates one person can be the complete opposite
of your idea of what is inspirational. However, I do believe everyone must and should
find their own. What drives you, what gets you moving, and what makes the idea of
your goals that much more tangible? I believe if we all listen to our authentic selves, our
inner voice void of others expectations and opinions our inspiration will show itself to us.
Success cannot be measured by anyone but ourselves and if you are truly honest you will
know what will inspire you to reach your deepest hearts desires.

Why is this important in Nutrition you ask...well we all eat for very different reasons and in my experience with consulting, hunger is one of the last reasons. In order to be successful in our new life style change with food, we must learn to feed our spirits, heal our pasts and find our true selves. If we continue to pursue a life that others think we should, what society deems to be success, what our parents, partners or friends say is the ideal...we will never find happiness and nothing will truly inspire you to its fullest potential. Inspiration is everywhere and all around us, you must be open to seeing it. It is like bathing, in that we need it daily. When you learn to feed your spirit daily, you will also learn to fuel your body properly.

Inspiration is after all that very thing which makes you chase your dreams. It's that blissful and exciting feeling that you get when your heart glides and your soul is moved.

This is a quote that inspires me everyday.

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.' We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?... Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do... It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we subconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we're liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
